Orphanage # 7 for invalid children

On Saturday, November the 10th, the children from the church shelter in Sychavka visited the invalid-kids at their home, orphanage #7. There was a musical program prepared specially for them. The shelter kids were happy to share their love and friendship with their new friends.

Also, they had a fun time doing craft altogether!

Besides all that, the shelter kids prepared small handmade gifts to give to their new friends as a sign of love, care and new friendship. The school teachers were very kind to give a little tour around the orphanage , which was very interesting and impressive to our kids.

What a blessing was to visit the orphanage #7 today, December, 29. Also, we had friends coming along : Paul, Salme and John. It is a special orphanage as many of you probably know, where live the invalid children.

Paul did a story time, which was very interesting to the children

Vasya is one of those special boys, but unfortunately, he is one of those who has no future when he leaves the school next year. His future will be in the nursing home with elder people, because there is none who will be taking care of him. Please, pray and tell others, may be there is an extra chance for this boy. He has cerbral palsy, can walk, hardly talks but very smart!

Salme shared her cheerful spirit with the kids and had good conversations with them

This boy's name is Leonid. He is very kind and a hard worker. he finishes the school this year and only God knows where he will go then. He is one of those who was left by his mother and even doesn't know his real parents. He would love to have a family. His right side is paralized but there is no work he would say "NO" to. He loves to help.

Today Slava had a conversation with him, when Leonid asked "Why do parents leave their children? Even the animals take care of their babies!" It brakes your heart when you hear things like that. Please, join us in prayer for the family of this boy.

These are happy girls!!!

Special thanks to Paul, who came from Florida. Due to his help the children were able to go to the Filarmonic theatre this week. Also Pau and Salme provided an electric shaver for Leonid which was very needy to him.
